I've worked with John for some years now and have enjoyed watching him become among the best editors working in Series television. His experience is in established crime drama but his instinct is to be as innovative and adventurous as the material allows. His enthusiasm and tireless attention to detail is always impressive and has helped produce some exceptional films. I would recommend his skill to anyone working on quality material and, on a personal level, add what a pleasure it is working alongside him.

I worked with John on many episodes of Midsomer Murders. I have found him to be forever hard-workingand imaginative, never dismissive of a problem, never short of alternative suggestions and, most of all, never impatient. As a working companion I found him to be humorous, congenial, considerate - no matter what the demands of the schedule, of the day. No editor could be a greater pleasure to work with, a more gifted and creative artist and technician.

Peter Smith - Director

(A Perfect Spy, Between the Lines, A Touch of Frost, Seaforth, McCallum, Midsomer Murders)

John is fast, imaginative and a great storytelling talent. He's particularly brave with dialogue and picture, so that I always trust him to make my work look good.

John brings an infectious energy and work ethic into the cutting room. He shows a great respect for the show he is working on whilst always looking to create a dynamic and imaginative end product. He is a pleasure to work with.
